The Alka of Sinj has gained recognition in the framework of the ''Doživi Hrvatsku – Experience Croatia 2012'' project, implemented by the Croatian National Tourist Board Main Office in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture. Implemented as a national-level programme, the project has the role of a quality indicator in the field of cultural tourism with the purpose of evaluation and promotion of the overall Croatian tourist offer.
