Two days ago the Town of Sinj ''Osinium'' Tourist Guides Association was founded in Sinj. The President of the newly founded Association is Jelena Banović, and the Secretary Nenad Pavić.

The foundation idea was proposed at the meeting organised by Director of the Town of Sinj Tourist Board Jelena Bilić on the occasion of the International Tourist Guide Day. The guides attending the meeting immediately agreed on the initiative, and proceedings started at the end of February. Finally, the Association was officially registered on 19 March.

The aim of the Sinj ?Osinium? Tourist Guides Association is to promote the tourist offer of Sinj and the whole Dalmatian hinterland as well as to provide guiding services throughout the Split-Dalmatia County. At the moment, the Association has 6 members, all registered tourist guides. As for foreign languages, the ?Osinium? covers English, German and French, whereas we also plan to introduce tours in Italian and Russian. We wish to invite all prospective tourist guides to join our Association and help us with their propositions and suggestions.
