''1st Boggie Sinj 2015'', skydivers meeting (16 March 2015)
For the following ten days, the Sinj Airfield will be the venue for the ''1st Boggie Sinj 2015'' skydivers meeting, instructional training and tandem skydiving, organised by the Sky Concept Parachute Club from Germany and supported by the Town of Sinj and the Aeroklub Sinj. The event will take place from March 12th to 23rd.
As announced by the organisers, there will be 45 participants from Germany, whereas both the Aeroklub Sinj and the Split club will give 15 of their members each, which will altogether make the meeting a rather special event. Part of the German team will give AFF lessons, and parachute jumps will be performed from a height of 4,000 metres. AFF is the abbreviation for ''accelerated freefall'', performed with the help of two instructors who will also teach you how to do different manoeuvres. All those interested in parachute jumping can directly address the organisers at the airfield if they want to make a tandem skydive or undergo AFF training.
During their stay, the members of the German team will also see the sights of Sinj, such as the Old Town, Kamičak Fort, Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sinj, Alka Course, etc.
