The 6th Cetina Adventure Race, organized by the Adventure Sports Club Cetina adventure, was held on Saturday, June 4 in Sinj. It was sponsored by the Sinj Tourist Board, the Town of Sinj and Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board.

Thirty contestants participated this year (fifteen teams consisting of two members) starting in front of the Youth Center (Piccadilly club) in Sinj at 8:00. The challenging 120km route consisted of four disciplines: 40km trekking, 6km canyoning, 50km mountain biking and 25km kayaking.

The finish line was reached in spite of unpredictable environment and weather conditions by overcoming the challenging terrain. This race is a great contribution to sport, tourist and other fun activities for kids, teenagers and adults in the tourist destinations of Cetinska krajina region.

The winning teams are:

1st place:
STARE POJATE, Duje Lekšić & Ante Pešić

2nd place:
CLUB PLAY, Vedran Ugrin & Ivan Grčić

3rd place:
TENDI TEAM, Ivan Milanović & Igor Levatić

The 4th City Challenge took place alongside the Cetina Adventure Race. Some 60 participants had the challenge of finding points and doing various fun tasks around Sinj with the help of a map and instructions. They had to complete the challenge at attractive tourist sites around the town in under 2 hours.

Elena Perković Paloš was the winner in the female division, followed by Antonia Plavša in the second place, and Paula Mihaljević in the third. The men’s division was won by Božidar Milanović, while Ante Bubić came in second, and Toni Bubić third. Matea Vukorepa won a gold medal and a trophy in the children’s category, Roko Višić silver, and Toni Križanac bronze.
