Tourist Information Center in Sinj has opened
Sinj Tourist Board opened the Tourist Information Center (TIC) today in the Alkarsko trkalište Street in order to better inform the rising number of tourists visiting our town.
The Center is housed in a wooden cabin where informers will be able to distribute their promo materials and inform tourists about the touristic offers in Sinj and the surrounding areas.
The chores of the Center, besides giving information in direct contact with the visitors, include collecting and updating feedback from tourists who have spent time in our town, with the goal of improving the existing touristic offer and infrastructure of Sinj and neighboring villages.
The Tourist Information Center will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 till 18:00, and in high season (July and August) every day from 10:00 till 20:00.
Last year, the Tourist Information Center had 743 international visitors, as well as 287 Croatian tourists.
The number of nights increased by 13% in 2015 compared to the previous year, and we hope to see this trend continued. A growing number of newly registered vacation houses certainly contribute to the statistics. Consequently, the area including the town of Sinj, Dicmo municipality, Hrvace and Otok currently has 35 registered housing objects with a total number of 420 beds. We can also thank the Museum of Sinj Alka for the increased number of tourists, which had over 26 000 unique visitors from last August until today.
